Thattu dosa is a well-known South Indian pancake, particularly associated with Kerala, where it originated in roadside eateries called *thattukadas*. Unlike the thin, crisp dosa, thattu dosa is small, thick, soft, and spongy, cooked on a hot griddle (thava). Typically served in sets, it is enjoyed with accompaniments such as coconut chutney or spicy chili chutney, making it a favourite street-side snack or light meal.
